You can print C5 envelopes via the rear sheet feeder. BUT: The problem of ink stains does indeed exist. On my GX7050, the smudge mark is always in a section of the envelope edge that is pushed out at the end of printing. All possible cleaning modes did not provide a solution, unfortunately! I also have a laser printer, which doesn't have this problem when printing envelopes.
