Is it possible to set the monitor to 240 Hz and is there no noise in the picture because it is a 360 Hz monitor or does it then adjust the hz numbers?

Yes you can, but I don't see why you should spend so much money to switch to 240hz, rather buy a 240hz monitor for half the price :)
