Question about ASUS Rog Zephyrus G16
Is it possible to upgrade the M.2 SSD on this model, or does it have a second slot for it? According to Asus it could be upgraded to 4TB and other suppliers on the datasheet have the following mentions. M.2 slots support either SATA or NVMe: 2 M.2 SSD Support List PCIe G4: SSD M.2 2280 512G SSD M.2 2280 1TB SSD M.2 2280 2TB
It has 2 slots. However, I was unable to activate my 4TB M2 from Western Digital in the 2nd slot in the bios. I then removed the original one and replaced it with the new 4TB. It took a little longer to set up again but it works perfectly.
The G16 should come with 2 M.2 ports. I'll pick mine up tomorrow and can have a look.
But on YouTube teardown it seems like there are two m.2 slots, only one of which is occupied. So I think you can just install a second SSD
