Is it possible to use the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones with the PS5? Does anyone have experience of how it sounds with a wired connection directly to the PS5 controller? Is it a huge difference to the gaming headsets ala steelseries arctis nova pro etc? Merci.

Hi Milford,

the headphones have an L-shaped plug. We have better ones for Playstation InZone H3, H7 and H9.

The microphone is no good. I tried to use it for team meetings. All the participants kept complaining about the poor and choppy transmission. Therefore, it is probably unsuitable as a gaming headset.
