Not at all, the Kindle Fire is a tablet that can be compared with an iPad or one of the many Android tablets (in fact the system of the fire is a "derivation" of Android). The Kindle Voyage is a reading device, so it's practically only meant for reading, the advantage is the readability also in sunlight, the autonomy, ...

Not exactly no, the Kindle Fire is 7" diagonal and can hold 8GB of data. The Kindle Voyage is smaller, 6", has 4GB of storage but we can connect to the internet in 3G, 4G, UMTS.
