I think it's a Thunderbolt 2, USB-C adapter, so the connectors are compatible, mechanically it works. Now I don't know how Win10 supports the Thunderbolt protocol.

I think so, because this adapter worked on my new Lenovo to transfer my files from my 2015 Macbook.
P.S. I don't need this adapter anymore, and I'll gladly sell mine for 25.00 CHF
