Is the 3.5 mm connection also compatible with the PC? Shouldn't it be...? But on the official Corsair website it says that it only works for Switch, mobile phones and consoles?

The mobile phone and console use a four-pin 3.5 mm plug. This not only carries the stereo audio signal, but also the microphone input. However, most PCs use two separate 3.5mm jacks for audio and microphone. So if you plan to use the headset with the cable and neither your mobile nor your case has this four-pin connector, you will need an appropriate adapter.
