Is the digital audio output a standard TOSLINK output or only usable for the Playbase/bar? FLEXSON is a bit cagey about it, but I can't imagine that they have a proprietary audio output. Do you know anything more about this? I am looking for an HDMI switch for various HDMI devices that also offers me a digital optical output.

Is standard. FEXSON only writes that because it specialises in sonos accessories. And that would be the application in the sonos universe.
