Question about Nikon SB-700 Speedlight
Is the flash compatible with the D810 if I don't want to put it on the hot shoe, or is an adapter necessary? If so, which one? I also wonder if the flash will work well with a softbox.
Yes, in principle. I use a Yongnuo radio trigger with my D750 and the D5. Costs about 40 Fr. But it's not available here. And the TTL does not work with the radio trigger.
Alternatively, the flash can be operated in salve mode and then triggered with the camera's integrated flash. TTL should work like this.
