Question about Fossil Collider Hybrid HR
Is the watch waterproof? The description says up to 30 metres. In the reviews, it seems that the watch is not even protected from water in the shower.
I was in the pool with the watch once this summer. Basically it seems to be waterproof, but I noticed that the glass inside now fogs up when the temperature changes a lot. So I would say it's not really watertight...^^
Here is an overview of the water density.
30 metres: The watch can withstand splashes of water (water-repellent).
50 metres: Showering/bathing is possible
100 metres: The watch can be used for swimming
200 metres: Diving watch
Example: Water resistance classification (5 BAR / 50 m) The watch is tested for water resistance up to 5 bar, which corresponds to the pressure of an assumed water column of 50 metres applied to one square centimetre. This makes it ideally suited for daily use such as bathing, showering or washing hands.
