Question about Microsoft Surface Pro 9
Is there a docking station that can be used for both the Surface and other convertibles (e.g. hp Elite) via USB-C? The aim would be to set up an infrastructure in the home office for office and private use only. So it would have to have a charging function and have ports for LAN, HDMI, and div. USB-A/-C. Thank you very much for your feedback in advance.
Hi, yes it works, I have a docking station from HP at home because my business notebook is connected to it and with the Surface it works perfectly incl. power via USBc
I use a small hub from Baseus (Baseus Metal Gleam Series (USB C)) = 50.-.
(with LAN, 1x USB-C PD100W, 3x USB-A, 4K HDMI, SD+TF card).
Plus a 65W Quick Charger, also from Baseus for <40.-.
Plus 1 USB-C cable with at least 65W PD

The Traveler Hub, however, cannot be used for power charging.
There is a Traveler Hub, via usb-c, which includes vga, hdmi, network and two USB ports. There is also a Dock2 (Dockin), but this works via the Surface power connector and cannot be used for other devices. Only with Surface.
