Do you think it is not recommended or have you heard / read that? I bought the screen last week because the old one no longer met my requirements in terms of colour reproduction for photography and image processing. The very detailed test report from Prad.de, the reviews from Amazon and the excellent price-performance ratio convinced me. So far I am very satisfied with one small downer: the integrated Intel graphics card of my laptop can "only" manage the resolution with 50Hz and does not allow the use of the Nvidia =(. But that's not the monitor's fault.
