Is there a wall-mounting option? The monitor does not seem to be VESA compatible, although contradictory information can be found here as well...

Um, excuse me... Could you please show me where this "contradictory information" can be found? Here at Digitec?
As far as I know, there is no way to nail this monitor to the wall without doing some tinkering yourself.

Hello together.

The monitor can definitely be mounted on the wall.
The manual (PDF page 16; download from the Samsung site) shows how to do this. The VESA plate is included.

The monitor can be mounted on the wall! In the package there is a plate that you screw on and then it can be mounted on a Vesa-compatible wall bracket :)

Read the manual: a separate VESA plate is included, which is mounted to the monitor instead of the base, and then provides a 100x100 VESA hole pattern for standard mounts.
