Is there a way to set up the Verbatim PMT-15 monitor vertically? (It would then be the perfect size: the same height as my 27" Dell screen and would fill the remaining available space in width).

I would say no, for two main reasons:
- the PMT-15's built-in stand doesn't allow it to be placed vertically
- on the two short sides of the PMT-15 there are connectors (USB-C, HDMI, etc) that would get in the way when it's placed vertically
