In the meantime, the tape has arrived. Yes, it is the global version and the language is set to English by default. I haven't found a way to change this yet. It will probably come with an update.

With my Mi Band 3, the language on the watch is the same as the language on the mobile phone. So it can be changed easily. I think this is also possible with the Mi 4...
