The bracket is not designed directly for 22 mm handlebars. It fits handlebars with a diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch), 31.8 mm (1 1/4 inch) and 35 mm (1 3/8 inch). For a 22mm handlebar there might not be direct compatibility, but it might work with special adapters or adaptations.
