Is this dock compatible with the M1 chip?

Hello,

Yes, CADUAL4KDOCK can be used with MacBooks with an M1 chip without any problem.
But please make sure that the DisplayLink app is installed.

Please note that this version does not support PowerDelivery (Charging over USB-C) - it uses an older USB 3.0 chipset. We have a very similar version CADUA4KDOCKPDL, that does support this feature.

Hello, I assume that this does not matter as long as your notebook has a USB C port, which it certainly does. I use the following processor type: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7. 2019. The device works flawlessly.

Hello, I can't tell you whether the M1 chip works.
I have my laptop with Intel chip and my 2013 Mac connected and it runs great.
