Is this keyboard only compatible with iOS or could I also connect it to my Windows laptop?

There is a special version for Windows/Android, identified by the "Windows" button in the bottom left-hand corner. It's hard to find, perhaps Logitech has stopped producing it. I have several copies of this keyboard and it works well, but for ease of use I prefer the "Lenovo ThinkPad TrackPoint II" keyboard (be careful to choose the CH layout). This Lenovo keyboard is very compact, great typing quality (I use it every day) and it has 2 connection modes: USB-Dongle + Bluetooth. It costs about twice as much but it's worth it. I'm still using my Keys-To-Go keyboard but only as a back-up, e.g. if I'm going for a walk, want a very light keyboard and the typing comfort isn't too important.
