Is this lens also suitable for sports photography (equestrian sports, athletics, etc.)? And does it fit on the Sony Alpha 7R III? Many thanks.

Works on the 7R III, but only APS-C (hence the E and not FE). A travel lens if it should be light with quite good optics, which underchallenges the 7R and in my opinion is not suitable for sports and certainly not indoors.

Hi,

Yes, the SEL70350G lens is suitable for sports photography, including equestrian sports and athletics. However, please note that when using the SEL70350G with the Sony Alpha 7R III (ILCE-7RM3), the angle of view will be limited to APS-C format. In addition, the "Lens Comp: Distortion" setting is automatically set to "Auto" to minimise distortion.
