I recommend a monitor with 2560 x 1440 pixels for 24 inches, because texts are not displayed sharply with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. If it should be a device under 27 inches, this gaming monitor could, for example, have G-Sync:

With a size of 27 inches with 2560. 1440 pixels, the choice is of course much greater.
