Is this phone compatible with voLTE from swisscom? It seems that 4G LTE is not enough. Is it correct to assume that it is compatible with networks in countries bordering Switzerland? Is this also the case for other European countries such as Finland, Bulgaria and the UK? Compatible with North American networks, particularly Canada? Thanks in advance

I bought this phone because it supports VoLTE. The previous model only supported LTE and not VoLTE.

Unfortunately, I can't answer these questions as I'm not familiar enough with the networks, especially abroad. I opted for this model at the time because it is the smallest of the Nokia replicas from HMD.

However, I now advise against the Nokia 225 4G because it's already my second one and the keypad is poor and repeatedly unresponsive. I have since found out that other users have also had this experience.

HMD is reproducing various Nokia phones, but with two disadvantages: 1. most of these replicas are much, much, much bigger than the originals. They assume that these mobile phones are mainly bought by senior citizens who can no longer see well and who would not be able to find the mobile phone again if it is not at least as big as a sheet of A4 paper and that they would not be able to type on it if the buttons are not at least big enough for them to type on them with the palm of their hand instead of their finger.

Unfortunately, this also applies to the other manufacturers of dumb phones. They can't imagine anyone deciding against a smartphone who isn't already very old and limited.

Google keyphone - this is also an interesting dumb phone that is not a smartphone. However, it's not very small and not cheap. But you can change the keyboard, camera and display yourself and switch between a T9 keyboard and a full keyboard (like Blackberry) and a touchscreen.
