I am using W10 with Pinnacle 21 and Dazzle Video Capture USB (off. label) bought at the end of 2019. At the beginning I was able to convert the VHS tapes through Pinnacle without any problems. When the Dazzle was no longer recognised (after an update?), I started researching. The driver in W10 for "Pinnacle syst. DVC100" is unfortunately not compatible with this Dazzle version. In my case, I inserted the supplied Dazzle CD and installed the x64 driver under "Audio, Video and Game Controllers": 1x Dazzle Video Capture USB Audio Device, 1x Dazzle Video Capture USB Video Device.

I used Windows 10 and the Dazzle for the last time with Pinnacle Studio 19, ran flawlessly. I then sold my VCR and recently upgraded to Studio 23 Ultimate. I no longer have a VCR to test it with, but I have just connected the Dazzle to my PC (USB) and in Studio 23 Ultimate it immediately appeared as a source in the import window. So I assume that it could actually record the video stream.
That doesn't completely answer your question about whether it works with Studio 22, but I think it will. Otherwise I can lend you my Dazzle so you can test it. Greetings, Felix Bleichenbacher

I use the Dazzle DVD Recorder with Win 10 to dub or digitise old VHS tapes but without Pinnacle Studio. I then use Premiere Pro for video editing.
