No, this is an indoor flash unit and can only be operated on mains power. For outdoor I would buy a Porty like the Godox AD400Pro or AD600 Pro with battery.
Yes is compatible with any camera that has an ISO hot shoe with centre contact. The flash output is controlled manually.
