Microsoft Office Home 2024 (1 User, 1 Device) is not natively compatible with Chromebooks because it is designed for Windows and macOS operating systems. You cannot install the full desktop version on a Chromebook. However, you can use Microsoft Office web apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) via a browser on a Chromebook, which requires an internet connection. The Android versions of Office apps are currently not supported on Chromebooks either.

There is a separate Microsoft Office 2024 version specifically for iPad, Chromebook, and mobile devices that includes the full Office suite as web or app-based solutions, but this is distinct from the desktop Office Home 2024 product.
