I've had this one for three years and don't want another one. As I need a new USB cable which is longer, I'm asking here if anyone knows which protocol is used here. Is it Thunderbolt 4?

Helpful answer
Since the product specification speaks of USB 3.0, I assume Gen 1 or Gen 2 (= 3.1 Gen2)

Definitely no 3.2, Thunderbolt4, ...
As the higher-quality USB cables are all backwards-compatible, you're basically not doing anything wrong, you're just spending too much money.

Thunderbolt? Do you want to connect an Apple? There is no such connection on the monitor, only USB-C and USB-A. To connect with Thunderbolt, you would need a cable with USB-A or C to Thunderbolt. However, your device defines which type of Thunderbolt.
