Yes, that is possible. However, the easiest way would be to use a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. Such as the following product: Roline DisplayPort (1m, Midrange)

PS: Is this a Lenovo ThinkPad T440s (14", Full HD, Intel Core i7-4600U, 12GB, 512GB, SSD, 3G, 4G) ?
