Question about Value DisplayPort — HDMI (Typ A)
My monitor has an HDMI slot and the docking station only has a DP slot, which is still free because the second monitor is already docked in the HdMi slot of the station. So is this cable suitable for connecting my monitor (HDMI) to the docking station (DP)?
Normally this works because the DP port can also provide an HDMI signal, so a passive cable like this is sufficient. If it doesn't work, it's the docking station.
