Question about somfy Connectivity Kit

My rented flat has Smofy Smoove blind switches (and therefore roller shutters) with the "io" function. Question is, how would I connect the Connectivity Kit to the roller shutters? Do I have to connect to the roller shutter or can I do it with the blind switch?

You must move the blinds to the centre during the teach-in process on the switch or on the remote control in order for it to work afterwards.
