Question: The product states a 75x75 mm and 100x100mm, does it mean 1 arm has the 100x100 and the other the 75x75, or that there are 2 sets of plates so that we can use the ones needed?

If you look closely on the mounting plates, they have eight holes. The inner four are the 75x75mm, the outer ones are the 100x100mm. So you have with both plates options for both of them.
