Since opinions differ between compatibility in the questions (not compatible) and the product review (someone has successfully changed the battery): Is the battery suitable for a Macbook Air 13" 2017? If not, what would be the alternative? Thank you very much!

Helpful answer

This battery is certainly compatible. Installed it in a MacBook Ari 13" 2017 about 1 1/2 years ago. The challenge, however, was handling the different screwdrivers (e.g. MacBook Pro/Air Pentalobe special TS4 5-star) needed for the replacement. In the end, everything worked perfectly.

We successfully installed the battery in a 2015 Macbook Air 13" a few years ago and it still works very well. We do not know if it is compatible with a 2017.
