Question about Philips Hue Play Gradient
So the expensive Hue Sync Box is not necessary here because the LEDs are controlled by software on the PC? Does anyone know how resource hungry this stuff is, resp. how big the delay of the light effects are compared to the actual picture?

When connecting to the PC, no sync box is required. This is correct. Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the delay. We have therefore forwarded your question to the community. Perhaps this question can be answered by another user.
