Have you found a solution with an external cd player? Possibly for the aux-in connection? Or got a spare part?
I have the same problem... And would like to keep this device. There is hardly a nicer alternative 😁

Hello, our pure cf6 evoke is 5 years old and the CD player works perfectly. I haven't heard anything about an update. Could it be the CD? Scratches?
