The consumption figure in standby also refers to "active standby", i.e. the printer can start printing immediately (no warm-up phase). In "cold standby" the printer still needs 0.6 watt hours. It's like this. The On/Off button on the unit switches off the "large" power supply unit or the "Auto PowerOff function" switches the unit off automatically if only the USB interface is used. The small residual current is needed to restart the unit via the button.
Fortunately, the device is a b/w laser printer and can therefore be switched off without any problems via the mains cable or power strip without any consequential problems (e.g. a lot of ink consumption due to cleaning).
