The dock is not compatible with all new notebooks? I have the Dell Inspiron 17 7779 and the dock does not work for me. However, there is nothing on the Digitec page...

I couldn't get it to work on our new HP notebook either. According to HP, you have to do a BIOS update, but I didn't try that and bought the HP docking station with USB3.0. That works. Corresponds to experience Nov. 2016.
