The monitor brings a noticeably worse resolution on my Macbook Pro with the M1 Pro than with a Windows notebook, although the resolution of 3440x1440p is selected. Has anyone had similar experiences or does anyone else know of settings on the Mac to improve the resolution?

I have had the same problem. As a solution I installed and configured BetterDummpy App - significant improvement.

Addendum: It also feels nowhere near as smooth as Windows in a direct comparison, even when 100Hz is selected in the settings.
