The notebook is charged with the attachments that you will find in the docking station and a separate cable was also supplied.
For the Ethernet connection and the other interfaces, a USB cable was supplied which you would have to use. In addition, the Targus driver is required. :)

Exactly. The Targus driver installs automatically with the first Ethernet connection. Connect both cables to the notebook and everything works! I was missing the plug attachment for the Acer notebook. Targus supplied this free of charge without any problems.
Attention: If the docking station is also connected to a separate monitor, do not change the Windows (screen) display for two monitors. This is done autonomously by the Targus software.
