The operating system specified is IOS 8, according to the manufacturer's website IOS 9. Which system is installed on this iPod touch?

I didn't buy the product myself, but that's how it was with my iPhone. It came with iOS 8, but of course you can go to Software Update in Settings and download the latest iOS version immediately.
