Question about Sony WF-1000XM4

The Sony WF-1000XM4 have or had a common problem with the battery and the charging station. There is a very big thread on Reddit about this, everyone should check it out. In other countries, Sony apparently even replaces the headphones when the warranty has expired because the problem was caused by a faulty firmware update. I got the headphones as a gift at the end of 2021 and unfortunately the purchase receipt is not available and Sony support in Switzerland is not responding. Has anyone had more luck and is it worthwhile putting pressure on Sony here as a community? I was otherwise very happy with the headphones but now they are unusable (the right headphone lasts just under 30 minutes and the case overheats when charging or no longer charges properly). Thanks and LG

As for me, I've opened a case with Sony Switzerland and no one is responding. Digitec doesn't even stand up for its customers.

Unfortunately this is also the case for me... I don't have a guarantee any more and the right headphones only last about half an hour. I bought the right one but unfortunately it can't be paired with the left one in google it only says sony can do that.

This problem does not currently exist with my headphones. However, if this should become the case, it would be annoying. They are not exactly cheap, i.e. not disposable, which I would not buy either.
