Question about i-tec Dual DP USB-C Power Delivery 4k Dock

This dock claims support for 4K screen resolution (3840 × 2160). According to one of the reviews below it is struggling with even lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 Pixels. I am wandering if this is due to a faulty unit. Does anyone else use this dock with 2560 x 1440 monitor(s)? Thank you in advance!
