Touchscreen???? I don't think so. It's a mistake

No, it doesn't have a Touchscreen. But to be honest, that's not a mistake. I own the 5x plus and after you get used to the navigation with the 5 buttons, it's quite powerful. By far more powerful than such a small touchscreen could ever be.

In addition, touchscreens don't work good:
a) in the water
b) with wet fingers (which you usually have when doing sports)
c) with such a small size. One finger is ok, two finger gestures are difficult.

My wife owns a Garmin with a touchscreen, and she has to lock it everytime she goes swimming. If the fenix 6x pro would be available with and without touchscreen, I would definitely take the option without touchscreen.

The only situation where a touchscreen would be useful is to pan/zoom a map. But also there, the screen might be too small for 2-finger-gestures, and to be honest, the buttons work quite well.

I think it's on purpose, not a mistake. And I appreciate it that the 6x pro doesn't have a touchscreen.
