Question about RØDE Wireless GO

Two questions, would really appreciate some help as I am pulling my hair! My audio mixer (Yamaha AG06) has a 3.5mm Mic input + a XLR/6.3mm combo Mic input. On the 3.5mm Mic input the mixer receives the Rode GO audio signal perfectly. Which means the Rode Go is not defective. Q1- If I try to use the XLR Mic input using this 3.5mm to XLR cable, the mixer does not receive the audio. Is it a wrong cable? I have tried on two different new Yamaha mixers so far! This is the brand-new cable that I used- https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/contrik-xlr-m-to-mini-plug-3pin-050m-mid-range-xlr-35mm-jack-audio-cables-6059725 Does it have to be RØDE VXLR adapter only? Q2- If I plug the Rode GO receiver to a 6.3mm TRS and into the mixer's XLR/TRS combo Mic input, the mixer does not receive the sound input either. What am I doing wrong?

The VXLR+ is a 3.5mm female TRS socket to male XLR adaptor, which will convert 12-48V Phantom Power down to 3-5V 'Plug in Power', allowing RØDE on-camera microphones such as the VideoMicro and VideoMic GO, as well as self-worn microphones like the HS2 Headset Mic to receive power from the XLR input. The 3.5mm socket also features the same threaded connector as used on the output cable of the HS2 Headset Microphone, and the RØDELink Filmmaker Kit Receiver, ensuring the connection to your XLR input is secure and won't disconnect during your recording. Merry Christmas 😀🎄

You can connect your Wireless GO receiver to a mixing desk or XLR input by using the Rode VXLR+. Simply plug your SC2 cable into the VXLR+ adapter which has a 3 pin XLR which you can then plug into a mixing desk.
