We are going on holiday to Turkey in autumn. I would like to buy my child this smartwatch for this occasion. As I have to buy a special plan for Turkey, my question now is whether I need to buy a plan with international telephony or whether a plan with international Internet is enough. Specifically: Can my child call me via Facetime or Whatsapp from the smartwatch?

Plan with roaming should be enough, the device doesn't use much data. Messages can only be sent via the Xplora app, audio and photos are also possible,
video calls, WhatsApp or FaceTime are not compatible. Calls can be made to authorised contacts with a normal network.
