We have had this printer for a long time. The ink cartridges are still half full. It prints, but only a white sheet comes out. What could it be apart from clogged cartridges?

The print head could be clogged because this malfunction also happened on my printer. However, it is a Canon PIXMA TR8550. I ordered and received a new one from China and it prints again as before. The cost: around CHF 20.

This could be the print head that has dried up. Carry out intensive cleaning once.
