Question about Digitec HDMI-HDMI 2.1

We have two of these 5m cables that we use with an Apple TV 4K (Dolby Vision and Atmos) with a Laser TV / projector. We notice white noise on both (white dots appear and disappear again). This does not occur when using a different cable. Can it really be that we are being sold inferior goods here? There is no other explanation - but I am very surprised...
