Question about Fitbit Charge 5

What about a direct comparison with the fitbit Charge 4? It's not possible here on digitec because the number 4 is a tracker and the number 5 is a smartwatch. I would also like to know which functions I have without the additional subscription of 9.- Fr./month. I am mainly interested in the sleep tracker/alarm functions. Fitness will certainly also be used, but I don't have any great demands there. I currently have the Withings Steel HR, which is sufficient for me.

I have exactly the same question. I have a Charge 4 that is broken and am thinking of buying a Charge 5. Do you see the sleep phases and does the sleep phase based alarm function work on the Charge 5 without premium features (like on the Charge 4)? Thanks for the experience

I have just received the 5 and have not yet tested it, but the functions you want are also possible without a subscription for the 4 & 5! With the subscription you only have additional features unlocked (by the way, when you buy the Charge 4 you get 6 months free to test it).
