Works with Sony Xperia Andoid 5.1.1 without any problems! Can only recommend the part warmly, sounds brilliant!

I have had the 1st version of the Soundlink for just over three years and was thrilled from the first test, in a large market. My children each have a version II of the device described here and are also completely satisfied.
You should always be able to try out an audio device first!
The Soundlink II can play Bluetooth with the audio codecs SBC Standard, no APTx or AAC. It doesn't have WLAN or NFC either.
I listen to almost 100% MP3 and can't tell the difference between Bluetooth and cable. But I appreciate the handiness of the Soundlink. It's almost always with me, on holiday, at work, in the bathroom, in the kitchen.
Changing the Bluetooth source has become much easier with version II.
