The emergency button is (as the name clearly indicates) intended for emergencies and triggers several actions such as a loud tone (to alert other people in the vicinity to the emergency), starts calls to up to 5 pre-programmed numbers one after the other, switches directly to loudspeaker, etc. To do this, press the button for 3 seconds.
