No, this does not mean that the midrange and tweeter have no cables. On the contrary, the cables are rather short. You can have the whole system at most c.a. 2m apart. Subwoofer and amplifier are together in one cabinet. One tweeter has a special cable with which you can control the volume, the other tweeter has a normal audio cable. However, you can connect an iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth without any problems. The audio quality is great in both cases!
