What height can the Roborock go/"overcome"? as we have small steps between the rooms of about 2.5cm....

The problem with such devices is the front bumpers, if they are too low, you can't even reach 2 cm, if they are too high, the hoover might get stuck in the swinging chair pipes. I think the idea with the ramps is great, it might also help the robot if you can remove the water tank, because then there's nothing holding it back at the back. Then it doesn't hit the ground at the back when driving onto a ramp.

I have transitions of 1.5 cm.
He manages these.
In two rooms it is 3 cm.
He can't manage these any more.
There I have mounted a ramp made of a "carpet end plate" from Bauhaus to help.
One side is fixed to the floor with double-sided adhesive tape.
The other side is underlaid with 4 pieces of squared lumber and double-sided tape.
Approx. in the middle of the elevation. Otherwise it is too steep
This is how it goes now😂😂😂

Good day,
According to the manual, it can handle obstacles up to 2 cm, above that the sensors will detect an obstacle and stop the robot.
You would have to try it out and see how it reacts to this, i.e. go for a hire.

unfortunately, i can't answer this question. everything is transition-free in our house.
it can easily fit on our deep pile carpet.
