What is meant by "CD Upgrade"? How does one get to it? When playing CDs, one has very little information, e.g. remaining track duration, etc.

When I play a CD and then press "Menu", an option "CD Upgrade" appears.
If I select this, "CD Upgrade" YES - NO appears.
If I select YES, nothing happens.
